Sylvia , I wish there was a way we could converse other than this site. Even though I am happily married to a man from Algeria, we did take alot of time getting to know one another and there are so many things to watch for and not just the obvious signs. I wish I could tell you some of the things I did before I made my decision to go visit and marry, but heres another piece of advice that I have not seen anyone tell anyone on this site yet. I was made aware of a few things, that these men who scam are very slick, they actually visit sites like this and look to what people write in hope to step up their game,and sometimes pose as women to ask questions, scarey thought isnt it? sad but true, and they also have site where these men gather and share info on how to woo or court as you may call it to get what they want. this is part of the reason I like to talk with people 1 on 1 so they can ask me all the questions they like and I can tell them all the things i asked, looked for and did to check out my man...lol....and just to let you know , Im 5 years older than my husband and I dont think thats a problem , I think when theres more than a 15 year gap , then i would seriously question it, just like I would with any relationship, not just with a muslim man .
