Attention Ladies

Thank you for all of your feedback. Before I started talking to him through FB and Skype, I would have been saying the same things as all of you. It is only recently that doubt has been entering my mind, after I've told some friends, whom have given me negative feedback. As for the warning signs:

The warning signs to be aware of:

1) Are you older than he is? A lot of women on here are older than the men they were talking too, and it's a major red flag.

-I am 4 years older.

2) Does he multiple dating profiles, multiple user accounts on facebook, myspace etc where he talks to other women?

-No; I have done some checking.

3) Is he on-line at all times of the night local time?

-No; also have been checking.

4) Does he get mad, defensive or evasive when you ask probing questions?

-Just the opposite. Likes when I ask questions, and I ask a lot about everything, from his religious beliefs to very personal questions, which he answers.

Note--If a scammer knows you like them or have emotional attachment, they may even be brazen enough to end the relationship if you don't accommodate them.

No, always wants to skype and talk.

5) Have you caught him in any lies?

-Have been trying and failed each time.

6) Does he ask for money? Keep in mind....they will rarely ask directly. They'll usually come up with sad scenarios to entice to you to offer help.

-He actually offered to pay my airfare if/when I decide to visit him and his family.

Trust me, I have read about all the warning signs, and the only one that has come to question is the age difference, however, when I addressed this to him, he said that he has not problem with it and that even the prophet Mohammed had an older wife

He has also agreed to try to find a job here (temporary work), and if not possible, then a tourist visa, because we both need to make sure what we are feeling will get even stronger when we meet and spend time together - before thinking of marriage.

I think, in my situation, I am thinking it is too good to be true because I have had such a tough life; betrayals; lies, deceitful people, and when he came along....(No, he does not know the details of the hard life I've had - I know not to show vulnerability, weakness, insecurity as some prey on that).
