Good morning, Irene! I was so happy to read your kind comments to me and I am sorry that you have been hurt as I have! I just don't understand why, when I showed him his phone bill, the credit card statements and the fact that the girl he was seeing told me details of their meetings, KNEW about his friends and even MET them (can you believe they were knew all about her and KNEW he was married because I have met all his friends) that my husband would not tell me the truth even then? After five years of marriage and doing everything I could for the man, he still could not be honest. I believe in my heart that he loved me in the beginning, but after our daughter was born, I think the reality of married life and its restrictions was not what he wanted. He just never thought I would find out after what he was doing. It is not just the cheating...it is the fact that all the time he told me that he was just meeting his "buddies", he was really at the nightclub. The same one he told me he didn't like! And of ALL the hotels in St. Augustine, Florida (and there are so many there!!) he took her to our special one on the beach that we went to a few times and loved. The SAME two weekends I was out of town visiting my mother are the same two weekends he took her to other cities to screw around.

I guess I should just forget all the pain and disappointment and move on, but it is not easy. I cry every day because I miss him. He told me that he loves me, but that we are not happy. He said he will always loves me, but that we could only be happy if I let him come and go as he pleases. WHAT? IS HE SERIOUS? Is that a marriage??? I think he actually believes his own lies. He called me yesterday and when I told him we could fiile for divorce and do it ourselves as a less expensive way of doing it, he actually said "Can't we just separate?" NO! If you don't want me, then that is FINAL! The bottom line is that if someone doesn't want to be with you, why in the HELL would you want to be with THEM? Irene, I hope you can be happy for your child and move on. There ARE men, I suppose, who are NOT MOROCCAN, who will love truly and be faithful! Write back when you have time! All my best!
