to Mary---Some thoughts--Catholic-Muslim marriage, Australia

This forum is generally not a referendum on Islam, and I have said several times that the behavior of men who live in mostly Muslim countries is not confined there. In fact, it's not even confined to the male gender.

To brand one as being extreme is ignorant.

I am still a catholic and married to a muslim for 24 years. My husband is normal and behaves like most men! We believe in one God - the same God. The scriptures in the bible and koran may be conflicting according to the time but they deliver the same message.

Allah and God in the Catholic sense are more different than you realize. This whole idea of "there are good men and bad men" in every culture should go without saying and anytime that is mentioned on here it seems to signify some necessary justification for the author to feel better about their relationship.
