This is generalisation - this does not happen when you have both have an understanding of Islam and Christianity as it CAN work together

If choose to adopt the Koran and Islam you would be well aware that you must cover when in public. A Muslim man will not ask a Christian woman to cover her head..

I don't know where you get this from - you obviously didn't know your Egyptian man very well nor his family. I admit that there are cases where the Muslim family have absconded with the children of the marriage to ensure that they are raised under Islam but then again - you didn't/don't know your husband or his family very well if this has happened.

If there are any doubts what so ever - don't marry a Muslim man. Stay with what you know and are comfortable with. I have little sympathy for women who go into intercultural relationships blind and without a shred of knowledge about Islam or their husband's culture. It seems then to be okay to cry foul of Islam and their middle eastern partners because of ignorance. There are parts of the Koran which are not acceptable to a western women and I have highlighted these in previous posts so why would you go there without your eyes wide open?

Whereas some areas that you have covered in your post are accurate - the above points are well off the mark. Egyptian Muslims are Sunni not Shi'ite.
