Point to ponder about Arabic Grammar

Dear Dr Pipes:

According to Amin Riaz a lot of knowledge of arabic grammar is needed to properly understand its meaning. That begs the questions: 1) Why would God choose such a difficult language to render his last message to mankind. 2) If it is so difficlut to understand, can it be safely assumed that most Muslims (arabic and non-arabic) have not read and understood the Quran correctly. So where do they get the knowledge about Islam from?
