Much as I find the intrusion of Islamism in our society offensive, I see no problem with Western female politicians or personalities making an effort not to offend when visiting Muslim countries. In fact, I welcome this. It shows that generally speaking, we, who are brought up in the Judeo-Christian tradition, are much more likely to demonstrate tolerance, respect and simple good manners.

I wish that our Muslim neighbours would show the same respect and consideration for us as we do for them. I see precious little evidence of this.
