Sad reason why there are so few reported rapes

It might not be a fair comparison to compare nations where rapist are married to the girls they rape at best and the girls are shunned or killed by the families at worst, to countries where women's rights are upheld and rapist are pursued and punished vigorously under the rule of law. Even with no worry of death in the west for reporting a rape, many cases go unreported because of the shame and fear the woman feels. How much more difficult would it be for the woman in a muslim nation to come forward.

I respect your beliefs, but don't be naive. I know there is less crime in muslim nations in general, but we would ask you respect the fact that we value our freedom too much to trade it away for the promise of safety only if you submit to tyranny.
