What a great article. These are the types of articles that women need to read and fully understand.

I share your concerns about western feminists not addressing the issue of abuse of women and children abroad as well as those who immigrate to the west. The topic of "Honor Killings" is rarely discussed in the U.S. Why? It just isn't politically correct to address such a problem that has happened and is happening at this very minute. Further, I resent my tax dollar being spent on foreign aid to countries that have no respect for women and children.

For those women who think marrying a man from a culture/religion that does not respect women and children is going to be a wonderful journey, I have news for them. These men do not respect their own mothers so how can anyone expect them to respect a wife and/or child? I was taught that when a man does not respect (I'm talking about REAL RESPECT) his own mother, he cannot respect another woman.

Keep up the good work. Maybe these women will listen to you.
