You need to be honest with yourself and get married only if you decide your religion means nothing to you. Since you are active in the church - won't that be hard giving that up.

None of the rites of passaage, no baptisms, no first communion, no confirmation. Are you sure that you don't want any of that for your children?
Also if they have no faith community - it will be hard to adopt the moral principles of either faith. School and television will be their guides.

Can't resist butting in because I learned all too late that it does matter..
