Reader comment on item: Advice to Non-Muslim Women against Marrying Muslim Men
in response to reader comment: How do I know if a Moroccan man is genuine

Submitted by Prashant (United States), Apr 12, 2022 at 01:47

Dear Dr Pipes, Reader Bella from the UK fell in love with a Moroccan man and is now wondering if he is genuine. A genuine person is fair in dealing with others. So, the answer should be straight forward:

1. If he gives you the standard Islamic mumbo jumbo about the marriage being unrecognized ultil you convert to Islam, he is probably not genuine.

2. If he insists that the children of the marriage be raised as Muslims, he is not genuine.

3. Ask him if Morocco is as free a society as the UK, if he start pulling excuses, he is not genuine.

4. Oh yeah, if he likes polygamy, he is not genuine.

5. If you are still not sure, ask him his opinion on Quran 5-33, if he starts pulling excuses, he is not genuine.

6. A man who does not not earn and wants to get married is probably not genuine.

Of course, there are about a few hundred, Jews left in Morocco. If he is one of those Jews, he is most liky a keeper and genuine. Help him escape.

You see, the answer to your question is easy but we do not want to believe what we know. Good luck.
