Reader comment on item: Advice to Non-Muslim Women against Marrying Muslim Men

Staying in line with the theme of the board, my main advice to readers would be as follows: don't get involved with a Muslim man unless:

A) He has been well raised by a secular family

B) You have an interest in Islam with potential conversion

Otherwise, it is just not worth the risk. Yes, love happens and most of the time we cannot help who we fall in love with, however... in my opinion it is not always true love that we're experiencing. It's infatuation, and the fact that it's with someone "forbidden" makes it more enticing. True love feels safe. Infatuation feels lustful and exciting.
