Reader comment on item: Advice to Non-Muslim Women against Marrying Muslim Men
in response to reader comment: Thank you!

I feel very grateful for their responses. They have put it very easy for me. They don't know I was coerced into being Muslim long time ago and I was able to see what Islam means from the insider. Ironically, Surah Al-Baqarah (the second in the Qur'an) contains an ayah in which is stated there must be no compulsion in religion. However, jihad (spreading Islam) is an obligation for any Muslim. And the history has proved us all what jihad means and by what means it can be done. As you can see, the contradictions cover the whole scripture. l defied my ex with my questions and concerns because I really studied hard, and as he couldn't defend the indefensible, he used to punish me for it. In several ways. All allowed and encouraged by Islam to shape a woman and make her obedient and a good wife. (An-Nisa Qur'an 4:34).

I'm lucky I escaped. I dodged a bullet. A big dangerous one. If something, I'm delighted to reply their posts. Let's let them rant. We know the Truth.

Thanks Baboon, and take care and keep staying away of these men! ;)
