I love my Moroccan man

Reader comment on item: Advice to Non-Muslim Women against Marrying Muslim Men

Submitted by Lozza (United Kingdom), Oct 27, 2020 at 10:40

I have read a lot of the comments on this thread and am sorry that people have had bad experiences.

I for one have been in a Relationship with my guy for a year, sadly we have not met since the beginning of 2020 due to COVID but he has been a tower of strength to me during this period and a massive support every single day.

Yes , he is younger, yes he is very handsome but I am not unattractive and consider myself sensible.

He says he wants to be with me anywhere I want, when we have been together he has been kind/ considerate and caring. I have met many of his friends but not his family yet- although some of them know about me.

He is a very proud man and well educated and does not want to accept my help at all.

Will I give up my life and home in the UK - I really don't know. I'm looking at this with my eyes wide open, I certainly wont be selling up and moving to Morocco but will visit every 2 months or so and stay there for a while at a time with him. I'm not up for a committed relationship at the moment.

I want to get to know him a lot more and understand the life and culture, he is on the verge of a life changing career there and if successful will not want to leave Morocco.

I'm just living each day as it comes and consider myself fortunate to have met an amazing man and I'm proud to say that not all Moroccans are as they are depicted and yes we love each other very much.
