Let it blow overReader comment on item: Advice to Non-Muslim Women against Marrying Muslim Men Submitted by Lina (United Kingdom), Jun 26, 2020 at 20:22 Hopefully it will all blow over soon, but it's crucial that you keep ignoring them. They can't harass you forever, but if it carries on then you have a few options: 1) You can seek legal help. I'm sure this "respectable" muslim won't want the police involved 2) Get a man to answer (in this case he could tell them that you've moved on and wish to cut contact with this taken man) 3) Send a single text wishing him the best, that you've moved on and want to stay faithful to your partner. Not only is this polite, but it's sure to rub him up the wrong way as well as putting a lid on things. If you do this do NOT send any follow up messages 4) Change your number I'm guessing it's the guy that keeps calling you... lol he is probably missing the ego boost, he thought you'd be crying over him forever. They can't do anything to you - you've done nothing wrong other than falling for the wrong guy. Of course! You were angry and confused because of how he treated you. But he doesn't own you and you need to make it clear that you want nothing more to do with him, or he will try to stop you from moving on. They will probably have kids together then she'll be left all alone taking care of them, while he's searching for other women. Do NOT I repeat do NOT envy them - if he was happy then he wouldn't have cheated on her, if he loved her he wouldn't dare. But that's his problem, not yours. Takes steps now to your new future :-) Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please.
