Guilt trips don't work anymore. Thing about it is that we come out stronger on the other side. We learn what we will put up with and what we will not. We are better because of it. I will tell you that God has really blessed me after I made the decision, which was hard at the time, to let go. But yeah...mine did the same to me. It bothered me for a little while until the healing and good sense kicked in. Truth is my gut was telling me this was not right but I had to cut it off and when I cut it off...I was done. Healing began. Our situation is so so similiar. Take care Submitting....
