Disgraceful self-righteous message

Dear Dr Pipes, I read the above message by your reader Lexi. Lexi's message is probably the most infuriating message that I have read on your forum. Lexi admitted that she was a Muslim and Lexi was a fake name. She claimed that "western women cannot expect to be respected by Muslim men if they sleep with them without marriage". As if any one wants to sleep with those who kill human beings on live TV!

Lexi's message is deplorable. I hope it is not from a real person. It is so anti-women that if Lexi shows up in public with her real identity, she will be severely reprimanded. If a woman sleeps with a man without wedlock, she is either sleeping with an unmarried man or sleeping with an already married man. The first is worthy of no respect by Lexi's own definition and the second is a disgrace on Islam for it allows multiple wives for a man.

Lexi's Islamic self-righteousness is palpable. She presents Muslim men as if they were some sort of a coveted wine that every one is dying to drink. No, at least some of these men are lured by another pathetic Islamic promise of heaven to those who convert non-Islamic people.

I hope Lexi is someone who writes here just to infuriate. Or I misinterpreted her message. Short of these two things, this message is disgraceful.
