Be back soonReader comment on item: Advice to Non-Muslim Women against Marrying Muslim Men Submitted by Lina (United Kingdom), Jan 17, 2020 at 17:17 Some of these recent posts are absurd, so I won't be posting on here for a while. I do, however, hope I've helped and continue to be a source of knowledge for anyone in need of it. If anyone happens to need any advice, I'll always be happy to reply, but at present will no longer be reading on a regular basis. This is an interesting blog, but there is too much bullying and repetitive discourse. I stand by everything that I've said, and regret none of it. I'm still young but curiosity always got the better of me so I ended up finding out too much too soon. So I will say that all the Abrahamic religions are "old-fashioned", including Christianity. And by old fashioned I mean the traditional gender roles and old school values are set in stone. No the Quran doesn't explicitly tell men to "punch women in the face", but women are at the mercy of men. You can't deny it, neither can I. No one can. A woman is supposed to be at her husband's beck and call, and if she deviates she will be punished, either physically or psychologically. It is what it is. These are not thoughts that I'm pulling out of my a**, they are quoted facts. I have a Muslim friend whose husband denies her sex, or shuns her from the marital bed whenever she's disobedient. I recently saw a Bangladeshi school friend with bruises on her face. Men will be men the world over. This is true. But the only culture that explicitly promotes misogyny is that of the ME. I - and I'm sure many of the women on here - do not envy ME women. I've been offered the lifestyle and do not want it. I don't know about the trolls, but I for one am not a washed up has been. I want a good, honest man of my own faith, that follows Jesus' example. A man that's generous, loyal and respectful, and a marriage that's monogamous. None of the recent trolls, can deny any of what I've written, and I believe that's what's touched a nerve. Hopefully when I return, y'all would've surpassed the "denial" phase. Later...
