Yes is mutualReader comment on item: Advice to Non-Muslim Women against Marrying Muslim Men Submitted by Miriam (Germany), Dec 7, 2019 at 13:18 Christian marriage is like Christ's relationship to the church, the church is obedient and devoted to Christ and Christ loves and sacrifices for the church. Mutual respect and sacrifice is the basis of a marriage. Paul and Peter also command the husband never to be rude or disrespectful to the wife. Unlike the Islamic books, the husband can beat, yell and disrespect his wife and she should be quiet. As for sex, the Bible says that the wife does not own her own body but the husband owns it, and the husband does not own his own body but the wife owns it, that they should do not deny each other. while in Islam the wife cannot deny sex, but the husband can deny it. nothing is mutual in the Islamic marriage Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
