Reader comment on item: Advice to Non-Muslim Women against Marrying Muslim Men
in response to reader comment: Offended ?

Everything you said is true. I'm willing to bet the reason most Muslim women are "virtuous" is because sex outside of marriage is a crime, and the men want virgins. This doesn't stop a lot of them, which is why there is an orphanage in Meknes for the children born to unwed mothers. It's like anything else - if it's "forbidden" it sometimes makes it more enticing. I know the Muslim woman sending my husband bedroom selfies, mostly unclothed, was probably not "virtuous" even if she didn't know about me, and my husband bragged to me about all the whores he slept with when he was 18. He most definitely was not a virgin when we met, and treated me like "property" once we were married, despite the conversations we had in advance about marriage goals and expectations. Once we were married, he no longer felt he needed to bother being honest or loving. I am so, so glad that his actions backfired on him. He thought I was his ticket to the U.S. He wasn't counting on his ticket having a brain, feelings, and biting him in the @ss. Now it will be extremely difficult, if not impossible, for him to ever legally enter the U.S. I would have done anything for him, but he couldn't even be a decent human being. I didn't learn until after I ended it that he treated the women in his own family like dirt. You reap what you sow, but he will never understand this. It's really quite sad, as he is his own worst enemy.
