I am glad to hear you are better AnneReader comment on item: Advice to Non-Muslim Women against Marrying Muslim Men Submitted by Chelsea (United States), Dec 2, 2019 at 17:42 Thank you for keeping us updated. The fog is clearing it seems and no contact is the best way. In time you will find yourself again. Life does indeed go on. The tender heart of a woman, especially a sensitive one, finds herself doing without to help others. I used to feel that way but this last whirlwind really opened my eyes and showed me that unless I care for my emotional needs, then I really could not give to someone else. These guys do leave you exhausted with the constant texting, manipulations and sweet talk. They are controlling as well. That is something I could not accept in my life. After my healing, I found out who I really was. I am not property, I am a warm human being who can forgive people, even MR Once Was. I am so happy I did not go further into that mess. My life is very blessed, easy, and happy now. Just a little funny here...Mr Once Was would talk about how I would cook for him and how I would run the bath for him. THING IS...I can't cook, won't cook and the only bath water I will run is for me. My neighbor is a very wise 92 year old woman. She has given me wisdom for living. I told her that I always felt selfish and that I did not want to be selfish. She said the word is not selfish but SELF WISE. She said it is not selfish to be self wise. She explained to me that taking care of yourself and thinking of your best interests is OK and healthy. Keep up the healing!!! <3 Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please.
