I disagree. I think Jo Wa's 'way of thinking', that Muslim men should be the head of household, that they decide what's best for the wife and family, is not endangering women - as long as the man has common sense. It would not do any good if the man were a fool, as no wife would benefit from following a fool. There are women out there that DO NOT need the guidance of a man, and there are others that DO.

Many of the stories here, are from women that WOULD have benefited from the guidance of a man, someone to just shake them and say, 'Hey, you're 40/50 something years old, not exactly in your prime, divorced, w/ kids, he's 10 or 20 years younger than you are, you are giving him money - can't you see he's just using you?' Sometimes men can be protectors.
