Cannot Get Rid of HIm After 4 Years!

Reader comment on item: Advice to Non-Muslim Women against Marrying Muslim Men

Submitted by Natalia (United States), Nov 15, 2019 at 17:37

I am a very attractive, very "white skinned" White American woman in my forties. I briefly dated a tall, dark,
sort of handsome Senegalese Muslim man in the United States. I only saw him for a couple of months. It was romantic, yet brief. I was very attracted to him initially. I have never been interested in marriage or having children, so I very abruptly broke it off with him, when he indicated to me he was. He had a "wife" at the time (not a legal marriage). He continued to call. I ignored the calls, but I eventually had to change my number. He emailed. I ignored the emails, but I eventually had to block him and close the account. He showed up at my door unannounced. I decided to move out of my apartment so that he would not know where to find me.

Almost 4 years later, he tries to contact me through a mutual acquaintance, texting the person, calling him, trying to speak to me, FOR MONTHS. Four years later! My advice to any American non-Muslim woman thinking of dating a Muslim man, especially a foreigner - watch out - you may not be able to get rid of him. Reading these other stories, they tend ot think once they date you, you are theirs for life. They are from a different culture, not just a different religion or a different country.
