Hi Didi et al,

Yes, I agree that certain types of untrustworthy and stereotypical men are in every country, race etc. However, this forum is about Mena/Muslim males. The inordinate amount of bad experiences here, have been between Western women and males from Islamic countries. They are the source of the scams, manipulation, dishonesty and pain of the women on this forum.

I think we should stay on topic and not try to justify their actions with "Other males do it also".
Neither is it a fair comparison because their cultures are so different. A Mena male is not even allowed to socialize with women. They are segregated at family gatherings, including weddings, where the men can be seen dancing with each other...I recently attended one of those in the USA. I could go on forever with the differences, which should be the first warning for women from the West.

We could also compare how their own women are treated but that would need another forum.

It should be noted that many of the women here have moved on to more satisfying relationships with Western men.
