You're Correct on Both CountsReader comment on item: Advice to Non-Muslim Women against Marrying Muslim Men Submitted by Robin (United States), Oct 11, 2019 at 18:58 No, you won't see a Muslim man married to an older Muslim woman, and yes, that is why they target older, non-Muslim women. It is for the opportunities and money these women offer, and they feel absolutely entitled to do it. I didn't know much about my husband's culture and religion when I got involved with him, but I took him at face value and his word. He had me fooled for almost three years, even though he became emotionally abusive almost immediately after I married him. Once we were married, he dropped the act, which cost him his visa to the U.S. because the immigration official saw right through him. Thanks to that happening, it gave me more time to get to know "the real" him. He couldn't keep up the act indefinitely, and got sloppy. I learned he was actually incredibly stupid - I could have done a better job of being deceptive and deceitful, and that's even though it goes against my nature. I mentally thank that immigration official every day, even though at the time I was devastated. There are too many of these guys doing this, and it has gotten to be very obvious what their game is.
