I Know, It's DifficultReader comment on item: Advice to Non-Muslim Women against Marrying Muslim Men Submitted by Robin (United States), Oct 11, 2019 at 15:46 Crann, even after everything that has happened, I still have moments where I can't believe it was all a ruse, a scam, FAKE. I mean, how can someone behave so sincerely yet not really feel that way? Because if he was truly sincere in his love for me, he would never have done the unkind, thoughtless and downright cruel things to me that he did. He wouldn't have taken my money so easily, and let me pay for everything. The reason I am sure it was a scam was because of his response (or lack thereof) when I simply asked him to do something to prove he cared about me. Words are cheap. As soon as I made that appeal to him, he was GONE. Any of my attempts to communicate with him after that were either ignored or answered later in a manner that made absolutely no sense. There were a lot of other things that happened that I was blind to until after I ended the relationship. It was a scam, and yes, his family was most likely involved. I can't speak for your situation, but if you feel something isn't right, pay attention to that. Watch what he does, not what he says. Good luck to you, and please keep us apprised of your situation. <3
