Welcome to the forum. It is always wise to leave any relationship that is bleeding you dry. Even if you are the same nationality. These guys are very good actors. Putting all religious views aside...it is the CULTURAL norms that they are raised in.

Of course they are nice...THEY WANT SOMETHING FROM YOU. However!!! You do not have to stay in this or give them anything. Just to hear a few sweet words?? No. My talking alarm clock tells me how beautiful and loved I am every morning. Actions are what you trust. Also your gut is telling you the same. Just bail. Do what you have to do for YOU!!

I am an Irish woman myself (grandfather from Dublin) and you know that we don't take NO CRAP. Get out with your sanity. Show this user what you are made of. Wishing the best for you kiddo.
