Dear Robin,I also write as Universal Soul and wish to say,you did nothing wrong.
You are affectionate and maternal( loving and protective as all women are) just as they are deceptive and treacherous.
Never use public platforms such as Facebook to meet anyone just as never love a stranger just because he is obsequious.Many women fall for them after visiting Egypt and other North African nations or Turkey.Probably it's the beautiful scenery their that makes them unduly romantic.
Some are heartbroken and want another man quickly or feel inferior.No woman is fat,ugly,short or any such thing.Once a woman feels that way she gets more and more vulnerable.
Sad.
