Reader comment on item: Advice to Non-Muslim Women against Marrying Muslim Men
in response to reader comment: I will never let him come to my life again

My Muslim husband is also awaiting refugee status in another country. Hmmmm, would that country be South Korea? Is his name Ahmed Achaq? There are a LOT of Muslims there filing petitions for refugee status under false pretenses, as my husband did (yes, that is his name, above). I did notify both the U.S. and Moroccan embassies in Seoul, where he resides, what he was up to, but never heard anything back. I even sent them a photo of his Alien Registration Card. It wouldn't surprise me at all if he was trying to get another woman to help him since I dumped him and made it pretty much impossible for him to come to the U.S. It's not like he ever even pretended to be married to me. I was just a means to an end. If this guy you were involved with was doing anything questionable while he was waiting to be designated a refugee, you really need to let the government of that country know. If he exploited you for financial gain, let them know. No country wants these losers if all they are going to do is lie to and use others. I hope you are doing better now.
