Reader comment on item: Advice to Non-Muslim Women against Marrying Muslim Men
in response to reader comment: To All - 'Urfi 'Marriage'

Submitted by Anne (United Kingdom), Sep 29, 2019 at 15:04

I want to know if I'm married to egyptian man... I have not signed anything in front of anyone. Yet he states we are married. I've not even met him yet.. I'd just lost my dad and felt railroaded into this... I sent him copy of my passport. He says that's my signature. But I've seen copy if this so called marriage. Which I don't think it's worth the paper it's wrote on... So in abitof dilemma... Just want to know if I'm married to someone I don't want to be married too. Anne
