My 24 year old daughter is in a relationship with a Moroccan man. Since he entered her life, our lives turned horrible and our family fell apart. She started her graduate program in NY. This scum, sold her a story that he is a struggling, hard working student. He basically seduced her and nothing we said or did could persuade her to change her mind. After a confrontation, she sued my husband and we paid legal fees, showed up in court. She blocked me on everything and I did not see her for almost four months. I reached out to him and Bingo she answered the emall and met me. Turns out they needed help getting an apartment.I helped. Naive me.
She was in terrible shape. Depressed, poor appearance. Desperate to please him.
So, I found out additional information about him and he openly boasts that he can make her insane, blackmail my husband and me, make us sell the house and give all the money to him! I got Furious! Told her the truth. Just to be blocked again.
She is in graduate school. And so so so naive and Stupid.
What is this all about? I know that she knows her life is not going in right direction.
Can someone advise me how these situations get resolved, if ever? What should i do?
I am getting tired and mad at my daughter. Part of me thinks she deserves to suffer with him. How can this be explained?
