Answer to EliReader comment on item: Advice to Non-Muslim Women against Marrying Muslim Men Submitted by Robin (United States), Sep 23, 2019 at 15:16 Eli, it has happened to us all. That's why we're here. These guys are like Kaa the snake from Disney's Jungle Book, with their hypnotizing eyes and voice. Trust in meeeeeeee, just in meeeeeeee. (Yes, I'm dating myself, lol). Seriously, if I had kept my husband's voice messages and continued listening to them, I'd be right back with him. These guys are that convincing, and your common sense flies right out the window. I still have some of his emails from two and a half years ago, and it is very sad. It's so hard to believe someone can be so devious, and downright evil. It's heartbreaking to be sure. I understand your embarrassment, I certainly never thought I'd fall for one of these guys, especially knowing that this happens so much over there that they even have a warning on the U.S. Embassy's web page. Pat yourself on the back that it didn't go any further, because that is a downward spiral you don't want to be in. I will never get that time back - I'll be lucky if I get my dignity and self respect back. Take care.
