Hello Jessica,

I just finished reading your post and seems as your are very familiar with Islamic or Muslim culture. I am just wondering why you would still keep a long distance relationship and you only get to see him ones a year? Please don't take it wrong, I am just trying to understand. How that situation would be different or better than others? I am assuming you have kept the relationship or friendships cause you aren't ready to settle down? But what would be the difference with that type of relationship and others here? You are spending your time and money visiting him. Why not visit other countries? Or how could you build trust, love and a relationship by long distance. A long distance relationship in the same country is hard, I can imagine on the other side of the world even harder? Or maybe you see him as your vacation lover? Or just friends? You don't want someone closer to you? Again, I'm here just wondering. Maybe your friend talks to others as well?
