The arranged marriages

Are usually miserable. Try as you might, it's not so easy to truly fall in love with someone that you were pretty much forced to marry. Real love is unconditional, while these little arrangements are based on conditions. Love is spontaneous, not carefully planned out. A lot of the time there's no chemistry... their sex lives suffer as a result.

Domestic violence and adultery are very common within these communities. The couples might have nothing at all in common... but still they can't divorce because of the "shame" of it. The wives are usually a lot younger and would prefer to be with someone of their own age/choice. They may also be inexperienced, as in never seen a penis before, or suffer from various sexual dysfunctions due to upbringing. The men start cheating or knocking them around... wash, rinse, repeat..... it's all about public image. This is their definition of honour.... money and status, rather than the actual quality of these marriages.....
