Hello darling,

I just read your story and my heart goes with you... I have no words.

I say it doesn't surprise me because after what I went through it is the only thing I expect now from a Muslim man.

In the end, it doesn't matter what they say. They have to follow their parents' will, their traditions, their culture and of course, their religion. Maybe he loved you in the weird way they can love, but definitely it is not what we Western women expect from a lifetime partner.

I investigated a lot about Islam and their culture so I brought up all the topics to him and confronted him. He wasn't able to deny. So my options where too little... Accepting that sooner or later he would marry a woman chose by his family. It hurts like hell, but we're much better off without this painful and constant heartache.

I know it must be hard after all these years. At least you came here to warn another women who are on the same boat. Thanks for that because your post is of more value than you ever can reckon.

My best wishes for you... Be strong and take your time to heal. We all are here to listen to you and help you overcome this terrible hardship...
