MacReader comment on item: Advice to Non-Muslim Women against Marrying Muslim Men Submitted by Keira (Australia), Aug 16, 2019 at 07:43 If you are here, something is definitely wrong... To start with, you are saying that you don't trust him. So, there you are your answer. I know it is hard to accept. But deep inside, we all know that something is not going the way it should. I'm sorry to say this but it is a scammer for sure... it doesn't matter how young you look. Muslim men are not allowed by their families to marry female who are older even if the difference it's as little as by one year... and I really doubt his wife died... lying to you in regards to the money tells a lot of him. I have no words, Mac. About doing the home chores etc I'm sorry to tell you that they need to do this because in Western countries, migration forms to apply for partner/spouse visas come with these questions to confirm the authenticity of the couple as it is normal in a relationship. However, an overwhelming majority of Muslim men don't do it because their job is being the breadwinners and the protectors of the women whereas women's role is very well defined in the Qur'an. Women raise the kids and are in charge of the house duties. That's it. Also, they do this because they want their wives to be happy and comfortable during their application process so they can state this aloud in the statutory forms that are needed to be filled in order to apply for the visa/citizenship... If you give us more details we could provide you with more advises but definitely what he has done with the money doesn't sound good to me... He should be providing for you, not the opposite. Dont let him to save at your expenses to provide his Jordanian family with a better life...
