Help!I recently married a Jordan man in the US. He is here on a Visa but passport has expired. He told me his wife was in a car accident last Sept and died. He said that her mother got all his children. He has always been nice to me and continued to be so after the marriage. The problem is I have talked to his oldest son who is 17 now but have never spoke with his younger daughters. I recently got upset as he told my 33 year old son who was born blind that he would send him money to visit. Instead he sent $700 to Jordan for his son for their Holiday last week. He has only given me half of what he agreed to give for half of the household expenses. I pay for all my credit cards and I had them before I met him. He never told me about sending this money until afterwards but just kept telling me he would pay me the rest tomorrow. Well tomorrow never came. Before we married he gave me part of the rent, did almost all of the chores, did everything. I told h he didn't have to do all these things. You see I am 58 and he is 42. I still work as a Nurse and I have had a triple bypass on my heart. I look very young for my age. He professes his love for me but I cant count on him or trust him. After what he did not follow his committments. I had him move out. I guess my question to everyone is should I do a background check on him in Jordan or not? Because I really don't even know if he has a wife there? I believe he has a lot of secrets from me. We've only been married 3 months. Confused on his intentions green card, citizenship, etc.., Your advice or any questions you may have would be appreciated. Thank you!!
