They rarely change

I'm corresponding with a woman that's been scammed by one of these - in one of our reader's words - bleak losers. Her "man" was already settled in Europe, receiving at least 800 a month welfare/social money, had travelled to various corners of the globe... and was still squeezing money out of this woman, under the pretence that his sister had cancer. So they never stop, even after they've "made" it. They take one of three paths... 1) they become washed up gigolos, 2) they take the money and spend it on their wives or families, or 3) and least likely, they redeem themselves.

So I've come to the conclusion that it's actually a pastime for them, that they're seething with so much hatred and envy. That they have to take what's rightfully theirs.
