Yes it hurts to be used. But 10 years is a long time to have to be responsible for an irresponsible adult. But you know it is their loss. I know mine knew he missed out big time. I hardly think of him anymore. Don't wish him bad...don't wish him anything.

I learned a good lesson from all of this. First up as I thought HOW?? I looked at where I was in life and learned never to make life decisions when vulnerable. Second I had to realize that I was in denial, cognitive dissonance and in my soul really knew I was heading for disaster. I also see how anyone in a vulnerable state could become prey in situations like this. Third I learned to appreciate freedom like never before. I call the shots in my life and because of this mess I got myself into....I think that is the reason why I like to be in control instead of being controlled. They really do expect you to be a slave to them.

I thought alot about it during healing and I see how any woman can be duped by these guys. Because our country has changed since our parents generation....men here are not like the ones we used to know. Women have so much power in the USA. But in reality, we all want that Prince Charming who is dashingly handsome and primitively manly to ride into our life and swoop us up. LOL. But really, they are the king and we are the slave. I can remember him saying things like I was gonna cook and run his bath for him. LOL. Crap. I never cooked...LOL. I am a business woman. In the back of my mind I was thinking NOT A CHANCE am I gonna make his bath. cook his dinner, or kiss his a$$ LOL.

I banish him to his bed....LOL. As they do the women in their country for punishment. No really, I have learned so much about myself finally....what I will and will not accept in my life. I have learned marksmanship and love going to the range.

Everything is going uphill for you now. Just let time do it's thing lady. You will see and know that you did the right thing for him and you. Be true to yourself and your dreams.
