AnnulmentReader comment on item: Advice to Non-Muslim Women against Marrying Muslim Men Submitted by Kate, Jun 30, 2019 at 21:16 I hired a lawyer in the USA and I blocked my husband. My lawyer served my husband digitally, literally thru an email and he responded and acknowledged the annulment. He signed the forms and returned them to the lawyer. The lawyer then spoke with the judge and showed him the proof I had. I never had to go to court or anything. It was all done in a matter of weeks. My ex did fight it for a couple weeks, but he saw I blocked him and I had never done that so I think he just gave up. The total cost was around $600 USD.
