HappyReader comment on item: Advice to Non-Muslim Women against Marrying Muslim Men Submitted by Didi (United Kingdom), Jun 26, 2019 at 05:54 Thanks so much. Yes I am much happier now. Mainly because of my baby, but also happy with the progress that's been made. We do talk daily and I think it's good. I am happy that he's been so open and honest about his negatives. He's spent time talking with alot of his family who live in Europe. They gave him a huge dose of reality and truth. When he told his uncle about him hitting me, his uncle said to him, "Did you really think you could hit an American woman...in Europe.. and think it would be acceptable? Are you crazy? You absolutely cannot hit a woman because you are angry. Things are different than what they used to be. You have to take care of her and protect a woman! You could be having a daughter in a few months, would you want that for her?" He said his brother gave him a lecture also and let him knos he doesn't need to end up like them, losing their woman and their child. He asked me not to give up on him, he knows he can learn how to love me and be a good man. I said well let's see it. I'm glad you got one of the good ones. I've met a few who are with Western women and who are really good guys. The biggest thing I see is that both partners must be patient and understanding because this is the mixing of 2 very different cultures. Good luck to you! Submitting....
