Hi Robin,

I think almost every city has a legal aid society, they (or a similar group) may be able to help you. (I've never checked them out myself so I can't speak from experience.) If they don't go to court for you, I'm sure they will at least sit and talk with you, explain the relevant laws and discuss your options. They might have the facts and information you need to plan your way forward. Hope this helps.
