Why Islam is NOT greatReader comment on item: Advice to Non-Muslim Women against Marrying Muslim Men Submitted by Prashant, Jun 15, 2019 at 22:46 Dear Dr Pipes, if we ask Muslims to prove that Islam is the greatest religion, they will easily be able to do it. They will just repeat the tired arguments like Islam is a religion of peace or Islam says that killing one innocent person is like killing the whole world. Muslims will NOT realize that given one example supporting a thesis does not "prove" the thesis! We must show the Muslims how they are wrong when they advertise the supremacy of Islam over other religions. For example, must be educated that saying that a religion is the 'best' because it says some good things is absurd because many other religions also say the same things. Similarly, Muslims must be educated that comparing best parts of Islam with the worst parts of other religions is also absurd. Apple needs to be compared with Apples and not oranges. In my opinion, Islam is far from being great. And, in fact, due to Islamic stubbornness it is not even good. Very humbly, I say so. Muslims should admit their mistakes, show humility, show signs of freedom of thought, show openness and, then. Islam will start getting better. Insha Allah!! If God wills so!!! Submitting....
