in response to reader comment: Feeling so used

Sara, you are not alone. The man I married in Morocco did the same b.s. to me. He was such a smooth liar, I never knew when he was lying and when he was being truthful. Since I ended it with him, I am so sick to my stomach. I miss the way he made me laugh. But I have had to come to the realization that it was all a lie. He even enlisted friends and a family member to get me to lower my guard. Should I have still run like hell? Hindsight is 20-20. Yes, the signs were there, but I didn't want to believe them. They count on this. Stay strong, and research narcissistic personality disorder. There are a lot of similarities to these types of people and Muslim men. And I am so happy the scumbag never made it to the U.S., all because he screwed up in his visa interview. Who has the last laugh now?
