The similarities are just too uncanny!Reader comment on item: Advice to Non-Muslim Women against Marrying Muslim Men Submitted by Anonymous, May 20, 2019 at 01:40 So basically, i met this guy, Ays, on an online site. Its not exactly a dating site either. And he's been just as u described, pretty flowery words, along the lines of you are the only one for me yadda yadda i love you so much and basically total bs (as im realising now) . I was suspicious of him from the start, but im afraid i havent managed to stop his advances completely. Most of our convos start with mundane things and somehow end up with him professing his eternal love for me, even though he gets a new girlfriend every week, and then says she doesn't mean anything. The jealousy, too showed briefly when i told him i made a new guy friend. I had no idea why the hell he was behaving this way,and i must agree i only half believed the *confessions of love*. He is quite determined tho, and i couldn't figure out for the life of me if he genuinely meant it or not.Thats probably wht kept me out from blocking him completely. Now that i see it more clearly, it was just him, him and more him in whatever we talked about. I dont mean that he wasn't nice, but quite the opposite. Too nice. Thats what raised my hackles. Plus, irl im mostly half-sarcasm, and anything sarcastic flew completely over his head and he got offended so damn easily. So, guys, thank for sharing ur stories, and i hope mine too will help someone recognize the red flags early on. Its a relief getting it all out. :)
