Siobhan,you're so right!

Those Stone Age savages try to pretend a gentlemen in the beginning,but they can not pretend forever!Sooner or later their true nature pops up!

Being with him,I felt so lonely and used, as no compassion ,no cuddling,not even a hug at the end..And worse-no help when I needed it!(I rarely ask for help,but that time I had a flat tire,was freezing in a winter day,and really needed it.).Did I need all this mess? Absolutely not!

Back then I did not know how to love and respect myself, and allowed this to happen. I was so naive,because I grew up in a kind and loving environment,I saw the world around me as is just the same-loving and good...Until my best qualities were used against me.

One good thing that happened at the end ,after what some of us had been through-is that we learned a hard lesson,and it made us immune to such scammers!

As a late stages of our healing -we try to help the others on this forum, who were in our shoes once,
to not to get drowned in the abyss of self-loathing despair,pain and heartbreak.Some-even -with empty valet.

I am not generalizing here.
Maybe ,somewhere there are a good men, who feel ashamed of the actions of their compatriots,but being scolded with bad ones,will you be willing to try again with another one from same culture???More likely-not.

Ladies,love yourself and do not settle for less!!!
Do not be afraid to cut lose someone, who breaks your boundaries and disrespects you,he will never change,not even for you! Be afraid to begin a new family with such creep.

Pretty face is nothing if the heart is empty, and made of ice and stone.They do not know what true love is.They only blindly worship their God,because of it was ingrained in their mind from early childhood of how it supposed to be.Some did not even red the Quran till the end even once.(I speak from experience).

They do not understand or know true meaning of love.

Love is not only a good looks,but good heart,caring and respecting man.
We fall for the way they treat us,not the way they dress or look, or for the empty words.
Who would want to spend a life with good looking,careless cold-hearted jerk,who only cares about himself,and sees you as an extension of him,free housekeeper/cook and childbearing machine,but not a woman with her own set of mind,preferences,wishes and dreams,life goals and boundaries?
