Dear Holly,

First of all,a very happy and safe 2019 and beyond to you.
Mr.Mohammad Ali Jinnah, who carved out Pakistan ,was a pork eater, consumed alcohol and didn't know a single verse of Quran.Yet,he was a staunch Muslim and so broke a united India.
No matter what these men claim, their children are always raised Muslim and many western women who have married them never mind this. Why? Why can't they raise the children exposing them to both religions and then after attaining maturity, let them choose their religion? Why many non-Muslim women adopt Islam and not vice versa?
They can be very suave.I am not saying all are bad. There are bad and good people in all communities.
It's better to marry within your community, irrespective of your religious and political beliefs. This is consistent with following the line of least resistance. You get impeccable references from your community.
Muslims are told that if they go to heaven if they get a single person into their fold.No one has received acknowledgement from heaven about these men reaching safely the so called heaven.

Be careful and don't accept gifts. This way you feel unduly under an obligation.

Eternal vigil is the price to be paid for happiness.Make your terms and conditions clear in writing with his consent should you decide to marry. They are very polished and even handsome. That shouldn't mean your heart should rule over your head.

After all,you will have to pay the price if your decision turns out to be wrong.

Don't trust blindly just as don't be unduly prejudiced.

Best luck.
