Horrible!!Reader comment on item: Advice to Non-Muslim Women against Marrying Muslim Men Submitted by Sheila, Dec 26, 2018 at 12:09 My condolences to these two women's family. This is a tragic way to die and to lose someone. People can be killed anywhere in the world. I hope I don't offend any Americans with my next comment but I'm personally not impressed with this man. I find myself getting angry at w Trump when he makes it seem like all of Mexico and Central America are criminals. Americans kill, do drugs, steal, etc. As much as I hate to say that about my own people it's the truth. Read about the most recent horrible story that comes to mind which Is about Chris Watts and all the evil he did. Forgive me for getting getting off subject but my point is criminals come in all races in all countries. I remember someone thinking on here one time that I was saying only Arabs are criminals and that's not what I meant. People should think twice before going to these countries because many are a high alert for terrorists. Some people who have been on the forum talking about just picking up and going to one of them like they are going next door to them. I'm not going to mention any names but someone on here went to one of these countries and didn't tell anyone who she knew where she was going. That's not a smart move at all. If you feel you can't share with anyone who you are talking to or planning on seeing then maybe you should question why are you doing it because there must be fear of what you feel others will say or think. This must matter to you. Like others have said on here I believe Sherry said it recently, you have to educate yourself and please do. Don't ever go to a foreign country not knowing anything about it. You think you know who you are going to see but this person is a stranger to you if you met online. It doesn't matter how many times you have saw them on video. You haven't met them in reality. You are basically alone until you get to know the person better and have an idea what they may be like. Unless you take someone with you. Even then it still can be a danger. I think more should be aware before traveling to one of these foreign countries. This tragic event of these two girls in Morocco is a definite reminder. I personally say don't go. I wouldn't consider it now under any circumstances. For the ones who think if you let go you'll never be happy. You're wrong to think this. You have to make the decision your going to go on with your life and find what's better for you. Meeting people in reality is still the better than coming across them online. Even dating sites and like Craigslist, people have been murdered when they went to meet the person. A woman was murdered when meeting a man from Craigslist This happen not far from me. Life can be much easier when you find someone who is of the same culture and religion. Many have said they would convert to Islam if they marry the Muslim they are talking to. They say this without knowing anything about the religion. The Koran is online in English also. You should read it. You may think twice before converting. I'll stop for now because I know this is getting long. If you are trying to get over someone like we are speaking of, read the stories on here. Ask questions. Read on other websites. There's plenty of information on this subject out there. Happy Holidays and I hope 2019 brings much happiness and love your way! :-) Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
