Writings of Muslim commentators and activists about Yazidi Genocide in the West

Dear Dr Pipes: I am trying to build a bibliography of writings by Muslim scholars in the West against the genocide of Yazidis in Iraq. We all know that Muslim scholars never get tired of reciting the virtues of democracy to the west. But I do not see many examples of Islamic scholars taking a stand against the Yazidi genocide. I was expecting that I will be able to find some writings by prominent Muslims like Linda Sarsour, Farid Zakaria, Keith Ellison, Rashida Tlaib, Ilhan Omar, esteemed membership of CAIR and ISNA, Huma Abedin, Aziz Ansari etc against crimes against Yazidi. I found none.

I request your readers to post a reference to any article written by a major Islamic apologist against Yazidi genocide. Please do so by replying to this message. By the way, this is also an invitation to Muslims defenders of democracy to speak against crimes against Yazidis.
