Reader comment on item: Advice to Non-Muslim Women against Marrying Muslim Men
in response to reader comment: Something Mena Men say to Western Women

I just wanted to add some things to Sheila's bezness informaion. Keep in mind that just because they haven't asked you for money at all doesn't mean that you aren't being scammed. These men keep several women at a time with several different accounts. Some of those women may be used for gifts, some for money to pay for their families or just things they want (probably coffee and cigarettes) etc.. so they are getting paid regardless if you are not giving them anything so therefore they don't need money from you in particular since they are getting what they need from the other victims. You could be the big fish they need for the permanent residence part. They are trained professionals who will wait even years to obtain this, so don't underestimate them

The other thing, Sheila you are correct about the age thing, it is not accepted in their country, nor is it acceptable to meet their family in that way. If they bring you to meet the family it means they have no respect for you. There is no dating. If a man is interested in marrying, they will approach the father of the intended bride they choose to marry and the man has to be well endowed in order to gain permission to be able to marry this bride, hence the conning western women for money and permanent residence in a western country. They gain residency and funds and return to their country and marry their local brides leaving you with anguish and nothing left in your bank account. So beware and protect yourselves
